Silk Noil is made from the smaller strands of the silkworm cocoon. Unlike the shinier weaves of silk that use only the long & in tact strands, Silk Noil uses every piece. This makes it a sustainable, ethical and energetic fabric choice. Silk noil is similar to a very soft linen or cotton, but is not as wrinkly. It has a beautiful drape and holds colors very well. The fabric is not see-through but very breathable. Silk can be temperature regulating for your skin year round.
